Do you think this is the case, or is it just wishful thinking?  Also, who dobbed them in?  Perhaps it was Piquet, Jr. himself.

It'll be interesting to see what the FIA comes up with.

If they are found guilty, where does this leave Fernando Alonso?

Rumour has it that he's already signed for them, and they are just trying to pay off Raikkonen, but apparently his contract for next year is water tight and he's already rejected going for half a years pay (thas about £10million). Apparently he's been talking to McLaren and Williams.

F1 is in meltdown at the moment with all the problems outside the track. It is good entertainment, although sligthly bizzarre. For sanity; choose NASCAR. I watch the races on justintv and I find them good entertainment. Even IRL has raised their game now. But I still watch F1 out of morbid curiosity.

IRL is definitely on the up but you have to wonder how far it can go when a top team like NHLR has to ask its drivers to bring cash (the reason why Bourdais hasnt gone back there when Doornbos left to HVM a few weeks ago).

Yeah, Milka Duno was actually meant to drive a third car for NHLR. To the dismay of all race fans. Milka Duno is just painfully slow. That says everything about IRL now. No sponsors and a lot of pay-drivers.

Unfortunately F1 has been dumbed down over the years and it's a lot less interesting to watch on television.

Well to be fair, that race was actually at the Gille Villenueve circuit in Canada Wink
But yeah, F1 aint the same it used to be. It's OK neither is NASCAR.

On JustinTv, during a chat about racing, I  accidentally "met" one german guy called Torsten... to make the story brief, he turned to be Rolf Stommelen's nephew....

Rolf Stommelen was a legendary Sports Car and Formula One driver, who died in Riverside in 1983, during an IMSA race...

I must say I was pretty ipressed, and in some ways, shocked

^I woldnt say he was a legendary F1 driver, but an excellent sports car hand certainly.

Force India must be happy, I bet they've suddenly had £5million in debts to Ferrari erased.

Monza this weekend, Sutil is looking good, topping FP2 and 3. Red bull way down the field though with Brawn looking pretty good.

Well, in most minds; it is still Singapore 2008. What a soap ! Renualt accuse Nelson Piquet Jr of being a gay(man) and Nelson Piquet Sr of blackmailing. Those two accuse Renualt of triggering an accident which could had killed people. It's worth getting a bag of popcorn and a keg with beer here. This soap will run and run.

The qualifying ? Is there someone out there who really bothers about racing now ? The Piquetgate is far more racy than twenty cars running around in a circle.

It's not a circle.  That's NASCAR.

But sure, it's not as exciting as it used to be.

Sutil looking good?  How does that even work? LOL

Now if Sutil and Liuzzi do well and Fischella does badly, it'll look bad for Ferrari. LOL

I think its safe to say that RBR's chances of the title is only mathamatical now, and since they expect to do badly at Singapore they wont even be that for long.

Ha... as we say here: "Punishment comes riding a horse". In mid-80s when Senna started to grab media attention Piquet accused him of being gay, something really hard if you go back a quarter of century ago. Now Briatore is saying the same about Piquet Jr, a kind of stabbing for Piquet "Macho Man" Sr. Tongue

If RBR wins the championship it'll be a shock here since he is the focus of many jokes (some really tough) in and out of the media. Shocked

^I dont get why the Piquets have even started this because they are going to lose whatever the outcome of the WMSC. No team will hire Jr now because he's either a backstabbing fraudster or untrustworthy with the little secrets that all teams have.

That Force India car is FAST.  Well done to all in that team for getting that car together.  Stuck to the back of the Ferrari all race and who knows if Raikkonen hadn't have had the benefit of KERSThumbs Up

If Ferrari didnt have KERS I dont doubt FI would be looking at a win and a third from the last two races. I just hope the car still proves fast when they head back to the high downforce circuits again.
