Thank god it only happens once a decade - but all the monitoring equipment is down in the studio so therefore watch times on CD players and cocking an ear to the speakers in the visitors' area....... So any dead air I'll try to keep it to a minimum |

I liked the Weaver's answer - it had a nice nostalgic touch of folk... (in my mind...)

It would be interesting to see how Gary Lucas sounds like - no previous experience
first tunes sound dark and weird... |

Deliberately picked that for starters because of its enigmatic character and Mary Margaret O'Haro's voice. |

Nice I don't know this CB record. Live in the 70's or 80's?
that's an interesting Kraftwerk cover sounds a bit like Manuel Göttsching Edited by Alucard - March 26 2009 at 16:45 |

Good evening 1998 - studio breaking down, so very little in the way of cueing and sound level checks to pre-monitor what I'm putting (with only CD players and mikes working) so driving by the seat of my pants |

Very rewarding - try one of the compilations Operators Are Standing By or Level Playing Field - which together include the first three (I think) deleted albums.

Absolutely - came up when I had given up on Yes. First heard unannounced on radio I thought it was the new Yes album, only to be told at the end of the tune this was Starcastle - a must have. 1976 Edited by Dick Heath - March 26 2009 at 17:12 |
