Alan Hansen quoted after 45 minutes on the BBC that "the system is working not at all" and "Rooney is isolated"! In my opinion England is suffering from the 'Dutch' disease: many gifted players but no connection between the lines, no combinations and hardly any good individual action as the Portuguese players shows. I think that in the end the individual quality by the Portuguese will decide this interesting game.

Rooney sending off was harsh.I'm not saying that he didnt commit the foul but he should have got the benefit of the doubt because the Portuguese player was obstructing the ball.

Yesterday I predicted German keeper Lehmann to stop some penalties, today I have the idea that the Portuguese players will be less accurate from the 12 yard spot Wink !

Yet again Ricardo beats us.

We didnt deserve to go through,we never played as a team. Crouch is not international class and neither was Sven.
Good riddance to the impassive Swede who could not mould this talented bunch of players into a true world class team.
