What prog band did you recently discover?

I am intrigued by this band. Apparently, their debut flirts with the motorik groove quite much though in terms of run time, it is slightly long.

I listened to Gila. They are krautrock - though I will argue it's too vast a term to group bands considering it's origins. Coming back, they have only 2 proper studio albums and debut is decent. It's rated quite high here at PA and while I personally don't thing it's that good, it's still atleast a one time listen for folks interested in the genre.

Does Deuter classify? He was a German musician who worked well in an ambient, Indian influenced, meditative music. Like the kind you put on in the background when relaxing. Technically, he is also termed as 'krautrock' but his sound is quite different to other bands in that category.

Funnily, I listened to one of his albums in a very wrong context. Putting them on at a train station and during road transport. The mostly instrumental silence seared [sometimes] works don't really gel well when you are expecting hard hitting music instead so that the music and ANC drowns outside noise off.
