Hey smarty, you should check out U.S. Maple. They've got a bit of a no wave thing going on at times. I think you'd dig them.

I like the album so much, I made a DRAWING A3 size to give as Christmas card to a DJ friend of mine who has a prog show both fm and internet broadcasting live from Milton Keynes UK, I painted him riding the sleigh. Progressive Metal has the most mesmerizing artwork, gave it a listen and sounds great. Not a fan of harsh vocals but these are kind of like Cynic's, sparse and aren't ugly sounding.
