Hi you all. I want to report some errors and omissions about the two
albums from brazilian band Maestrick. I just acquired these CDs, and the
booklets have the lyrics and many informations about the instrumentation and
invited musicians. On 'Unpuzzle',
track 2 is named 'Aquarela'. Not 'Video 2. Aquarela'. And track 9 is not 'Buy track 9. Smilesnif'. It's
'Smilesnif'. Musicians are: - Fabio Caldeira: vocals, piano and keyboards. Choir on track 1. "Elvis" choir (track 2). Gospel
choir (2). Triangle and cowbell (3). Backing vocals (6, 8, 10 and 11). Mantra
choir (7). Whistle choir (10). Lyrical choir (11). - Renato "Montanha" Somera: bass, fretless and
guturals. Mantra choir (7). - Heitor Matos: drums and percussion. Bongo and egg shaker (2). Mantra choir (7). - Danilo Augusto: guitars. - Maurício Figueiredo: guitars and backing vocals. Choir
(1). With: - Gustavo Carmo: percussion (1). Guitars (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
9 and 11). Violas (3). Acoustic guitar (7, 10). - Rodrigo Carmo: vocals (6). Choir (1). “Elvis” choir (2).
Gospel choir (2). Backing vocals (6, 8, 9, 10 and 11). “Bossa” choir (10).
Lyrical choir (11). - Vítor Guizilini: Flute (2, 3, 10). - Francis Botene: keyboard solo (8). - Cleyton Soares: “Elvis” choir (2). - Yana Roberta: female voice (10). Backing vocals and
“bossa” choir (10). Mantra choir (7). “Queen” voice (11). - Barbara Fonseca: gospel choir (2). Lyrical choir (11). - Danielle Castro: gospel choir (2). Mantra choir (7).
“Crystal doll” voice (11). Lyrical choir (11). - Marilys Pinheiro: Mantra choir (7). - Glauce Carmo: “Fat witch” voice (11). - Fábio Lujan: “Elvis” choir (2). Backing vocals (11).
Lyrical choir (11). - Rubia Galdino: Lyrical choir (11). - Ana Larissa J. de Souza, Ana Letícia J. de Souza, Fernanda
Carolina Varandas and Leonardo G. Ferreira: children choir (11). - Radio excerpts: Secos e Molhados – “Rosa de Hiroshima”
(8). - E&O Team: Thanks, "Unpuzzle" done. A bit different though because it's not clear what all these choirs mean. On ‘Espresso Della
Vita ●
Solare’, 2nd track is named ‘I a.m. Living’, not ‘aI .m. Living’. Permanent members play more
instruments than those announced on the site. - Fábio Caldeira: vocals,
piano and keyboards.Viola caipira (track 3). Acoustic guitars (5 and 7). - Renato “Montanha” Somera: bass and guturals. - Heitor Matos: drums and percussions. With: - Adair Daufembach: rythym and solo guitars (1, 4, 5, 6, 7,
8, 9, 10, 11 and 12). - Rubinho Silva: acoustic folk guitars (9 and 12). - Luís Fernando Freitas: congas, bongos, triangles, alfaia,
pandeiro, afoxé, ganzá, egg shake, agogô, block, berimbau, cuíca, surdo, vibra
slap, chime on tracks 3, 9, 10, 11, 12). - Solare Choir: Sopranos: Malu Oliveira, Danielle Castro, Michelle Maia. Altos: Audrey Sarraceni, Mayara Martinelli, Carolina
Penhavel, Camila Souza, Fernanda Barban. Tenors: Will Matos, Daniel Oliveira, Paulo Camillo, Kelvin
Miura, Victor Castro. Basses: Maurício Lopes, Natan Custódio, Fábio Caldeira. Some of the members of Solare Choir also executed backing
vocals on different tracks. - Solare Orchestra: Violins: Adriano Reis, Ana Camila Castilho, Camila Schneck,
Eduarda Ito. Viola: Guilherme Caldas. Cello: Walisson Cruz. Timpani and Gran Casa: Elvis Plácido de Oliveira. Flute: Pablo Alayza. - Cíntia Santibañes: vocals (11). - Rosecler Caldeira: vocals (10). - Bárbara Silva: vocals (9). - Alonso Zelaya and Ana Barajas: backing vocals (11). - Elvis Plácido de Oliveira: Timpani and Gran Casa (1, 2 and
7). - Leonardo Almeida: ukulele (11 and 12). - Rodrigo Pimentel: banjo and dobro (8). - Eduardo Caldeira: speech (11). - Giovana Salles: speech (12). - E&O Team: Thanks, done. Edited by NotAProghead - March 12 2024 at 23:42 |

Looks like a mess. It's the only time I've seen on PA that an album track duration is a fricking math equation. Haha. I would suggest this layout instead: - The Girl Who was....Death: 1. part 1 (38:48) 2. silence (26:20) 3. part 2 (1:56) Edited by Hrychu - March 12 2024 at 20:44 |

^ Obviously LP and CD editions are different. 66 minutes is too much for an LP.
I'd suggest the following: LP tracks: A. Untitled B. Untitled CD contents: 1. The Girl Who was....Death (66:06) Total Time: 66:06 Note. CD version clocks as follows: 38:48 (music) + 26:20 (silence) + 1:56 (music) Additionally, something's wrong in this calculation. 38:48 + 26:20 + 1:56 = 67:04 Something - CD total time or its parts' time - is incorrect. ^ Julien, you've missed my comment:
I guess LP version doesn't contain 25 minutes of silence.

^ Eugene, to be honest, I didn't miss it. I just don't know what to do with it. You're right, obviously. But I didn't find accurate info about the LP content.
(I have the CD in my collection, but not the LP.) Feel free to step in...
