Pure Reason Revolution - The Dark Third I still haven't heard their latest but will probably get it eventually. Cosmic, sorry to hear about your brother. It sounds like he had good taste in music.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Thank you Jared, thats very kind of you and much appreciated. Its been a pig of last 2 years but, hey, when you hit that time of life its part of the course.. luckily after tests and investigations ive been given a (relatively) clean bill of health and now the caring is moving from the older generation to the grandchildren its all a bit more positive generally... and i'm a great believer in the positively therapeutic power of music so i surround myself with it as much as i'm able, as often as i'm able

You're a very wise man. I work as a (glorified) care assistant for the council these days and as such, I see age and infirmity on a daily basis, which puts a fairly firm perspective on things. Without doubt, music is where I find my greatest solace and enjoyment from life...
