It's just that "cause" is already a word and can be confusing if I just wrote that, 'cause shows that it's an abbreviation. Phone and plane are fine by me though.

It's actually a habit now.  I've been changing my font for so long I automatically do it.  I could never have multiple personalities on this site because I'd change my font and give myself away.  LOL

I prefer the serif font because it's easier to distinguish certain characters (like l   I)...see one of those is a lowercase l, and the other is a capital I. 

It also helps me locate my posts quickly or notice easily if someone has responded to me.
