CARTOON sound brings the combination of many musical styles such as rock, classical music, Brazilian music and Indian blues, jazz and folk, among others ... All this sounds harmoniously, as if the unpredictable world of cartoons sprung to life through music. This combination, sometimes difficult to label, has conquered people of all ages and nationalities, perhaps due to the universality of the message and the music that the band produces.

The first album was released in 1999 and named "Martelo" (Hammer). On this records the band used an outside aesthetics of musical standards of the time (mixing rock with elements of classical music, samba, jazz and Indian music), also innovating with regard to the lyrics and artwork, which operate with a lot of creativity mystical concept and humorous.

The second project released in 2002 in a memorable sold-out show at the Grand Palace Theater of the Arts, is titled "Bigorna" (Anvil) and designed in the shape of a real Rock Opera (with a libretto in a comics book format). Considered the first work of its kind to be produced in Brazil, the Rock Opera subtitled as “The True Story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table" is unusual terms for CARTOON. This album launched the band definitively on the world market, earning rave reviews in special magazines and websites around the world.  According to the site Progressive Rock Brazil, the album was awarded as the best album of the year 2002, while CARTOON was called the best band of that year.

The third record, released in 2008 and called "Estribo" (Stirrup), ends the trilogy that deals with the three ossicles in charge of human hearing. The central idea of this new work revolves around the emotions and conflicts of a young musician who, like Beethoven, is deaf due to paralysis of a tiny ear bone called the stirrup! The isolation and suffering caused by deafness, leading then to question its entire existence and embark on a fantastic journey where every step, he overcomes his fears and difficulties toward a glorious end. The album has won rave reviews and is considered by many as the best and most mature work of the group."
