Excuse my denseness but who performed Jugband Blues? Was that a Syd Barrett song or Pink Floyd? Answer: Pink Floyd from Saucerful of Secrets. I don't recall what this song sounds like off of the top of my head. I'll have to give it a listen.

I love all things Meddle and Atom Heart Mother, and most things A Saucerful of Secrets, and most things Dark Side of the Moon. The rest I don't know or don't like.

Giving it a listen. I vaguely remember this track. I'm not a big fan of early Floyd. I prefer their more commercial era that everyone else hates.
I don't hate it, I just don't prefer it. My only complaint is when people go "THE WALL IS THE BEST!!!1!" without hearing the early stuff that is completely different, I don't mind if someone prefers the later stuff really.

You need to get Ummagumma, Jon, you'd prolly like that.

I like them from Atom Heart Mother forward. I like some songs on their earlier albums, but I'm not all that fond of the psychedelic/spacey production noise that goes along with it. To me that makes it sound very dated. (a funny statement for someone on a prog rock site where the classics were all recorded in the early 70's.)

I plan to get that and Piper sometime in the not too distant future.
