And I want Five Suns and Black Oni on vinyl.

Oooh and my Comus poster is very cool indeed.  I haven't put it up on the wall yet.  I may actually get a clip frame for it instead of using blutac.

Don't forget Elixirs though.  It's still a great album as well.

Yepper, that'll be on me next order.

Oh and my mate has contacts for music venues in the UK so I'm hoping he sends me some links so I can forward them to the dude from Ahleuchatistas so they can come over here. Big smile

My evening has been hectic.  I've been out all day pretty much.

I'm over my issues from last night.  My mate who I was referring to has been on holiday for a week and her 'phone died.  That's also why she wasn't on Facebook.

I did call her earlier and she seems fine with me.  Which is cool.

Also...

The chap rocking out at 1:20 amuses me.

See, there was a logical explanation to everything, that's good.

I'll watch the video later, I'm listening to more of Einstein on the Beach.

Indeed there is.  I hope I get the chance of meeting up with her next week but her exams start then... but perhaps she'll need a break and some good luck wishes from yours truly.

It hasn't been too bad here today.  Instead it's been mild and slightly rainy.  Did we switch weather? LOL

I know, I almost ordered some today.  Then I decided to go along an entirely different route and get stuff from Gyorgy Ligeti, Philip Glass and Steve Reich.

The guitarist in Bondage Fruit is insanely awesome.

Oooh, where would I start with Ligeti?

I also still plan to get some Takemitsu.

I started with Ligeti tonight by ordering The Ligeti Project.  It's supposedly an amazing starting point, 5 discs of Ligeti compositions for $25 plus shipping in my case, it's on Amazon.co.uk for 17.98 Pounds.

Wow, that's pretty tempting.

Which reminds me... I need to get that Robert Wyatt boxset.  Mmm.

Indeed, it is tempting.  If I like this one, there's another box set for a similar price with 9 discs, supposedly between the two you have almost every piece he ever composed.  That one's supposedly a bit harder to get into though.

His son's a drummer, I gather.  Any idea what music he plays?

No idea.  I can't find any information on any of his sons being a drummer.  One, Zachary, is supposedly a singer/songwriter.
