I'm signing in, although I like Rush only from Caress of Steel to Moving Pictures. (I'm currently getting into Signals)
My favorite song is Xanadu, followed by an underrated gem Fountain of Lamneth.

recently acquired a vinyl rip of Vapor Trails.  it's a totally different sound and such a great album.  aside from the sound issues, they came back with balls to the wall after such tragedy.  knowing that makes the album even more sweet!
Stardust we are.

holding off on this one.. i have so much to enjoy already... i saw this band last year live and the new tracks(which i had already got the dl's )... underwhelmed myself and the audience.... we all just wanted them to get to moving pictures i suppose... and it was heavy/ beautiful ...but i have listened to the bu2b and caravan quite a bit and they don't really move me... a lot of noisy riffing.. alex's style has gotten a bit unsubtle over the last 12 to 20 years... heh...though i really enjoy geddy's bass playing... to all the enthusiasts - i hope this is a great album and you fellows get a lot of enjoyment from it! maybe i will join you in a few months.. good chance i'll go see these guys in charlotte,nc this summer
we only know that we do not know

I'm going to wait to see how people's reactions are towards the new album before I decide what I'm going to do. S&A was alright, and better than the last 5-6 albums; but not as good as I was hoping for.

Fairy snuff... I hope you post a review though as I will be keen to read what you think of it.

So far  I would say the 3 released tracks are a step up from the last album which I cant review till I have heard it one more time....so that's a positive.

I am going to review today the following that I have been holding off for a long time: I hope I can get them all done as its about time before I get the new album in about three weeks...

Looking forward to the new album. I do not necessarily hold Rush to some unobtainable high standard. Hey, I like their music. Do I expect the next Moving Pictures? No. Do I expect a bit of at least occasional perfection from a consummately professionial band? Yes.Why? Because I'm a simple sort who loves good music.
Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.

I hope so!

I did all those Rush reviews too and surprisingly actually gave Snakes and Arrows the highest rating - it is far superior though i have yet to complete Vapor Trails.....

Hi. You're obviously new here, welcome to PA, but from your comment can I presume you have "lurked" here for a while before actually joining?
