Sounds like a great show.  This is probably their first tour that I have missed since 1989/1990, but since they didn't come here, it wasn't practical for me to go see them elsewhere.

Understandable. Hopefully they'll have another tour after the new album is released next year and they'll be close enough for you to see them, Scott.

Of course, I'm hoping the same is true for me. Plus I'd like to see Rush make one more album to make it to #20. Not many bands have released 20 albums.

Road Salt the single sounds like Kings of Leon.  It's generic and horrid.

Of course, the rest of the album maybe much better.

I could always fly down to Tampa next month and stay with my parents so that I could see them, but again, not really practical.  (And I call myself a fanboy. Pshaw).  It was cool to see that they played the 2 new songs.  I would have liked to have seen the entire Moving Pictures played.  That would have been cool.  It is probably safe to assume that a new DVD will be out after this tour, so I might just get to enjoy the show anyway.

This setlist was awesome enough that it would be a crime to us Rush fanboys (and fangirls) everywhere to not release a DVD for it.

I have looked to see what's happening around here, not much. LOL I've already missed everything that is remotely interesting.

Hiya June.

The other concerts I have for this year are Titus Andronicus in September (they released my current favorite album of the year so far), Katatonia (maybe) and Muse in October, and Epica and DEVY! in November.

I know my brother mentioned Testament for sure

Oh he added more dates, he'll be in Michigan, but yet again on the wrong side. Some day I may actually get to attend a concert. LOL

I don't have any concerts that I plan on attending on the horizon that I am aware of.  I saw the musical Rock of Ages when I was in Toronto this weekend.  80's AOR and hair metal that was right up my alley.  The show was pretty good, although the story was pretty generic.  The music rocked however.  Mostly stuff you young'uns couldn't appreciate but the music that I grew up with.

Yeah, Testament are opening for Slayer and Megadeth, which would be a killer show.

I need to see if I can take the bus back to Milwaukee for that show.  That and the AAL show.
