With the exception of cover bands, Crimso ain't Crimso without Fripp. Especially considering that the band's pretty much Fripp's solo project with a lot of talented musicans that come and go.

They were great, I also missed the vocals on Starless but that was OK.

I know it's confusing haveing two similar song titles though. Although I have a feeling that was a cover of Starless and Bible Black, rather than Starless, so in some way you're correct... But I didn't miss them. Neither did I miss the vocals on The Night Watch.

Actually, no, it was a cover of Starless, from Red. And it does have vocals. I'm now confused. Edited by James - June 03 2010 at 09:35

I thought the bass was playing the vocal bits, but now I don't know anymore.
Good enough reason to listen to Red today though.

No, you're right. I'm getting confused with the more awesome Starless and Bible Black from Starless and Bible Black I think. I also need to play them both again but I need to finish my Magma plays first. The second part of Starless is awesome. That's the bit where Fripp basically plays 2 notes.

I don't got that problem to worry about, sadly. I shall dig back into KC, I should do that anyway.

Actually, this version is the more awesome version. Especially with Mel Collins about to blow his sax into kingdom come. Edited by James - June 03 2010 at 09:42

There's a tune called Starless and Bible Black on Starless and Bible Black and then of course, there's a live version of Starless on USA too.

I've heard Starless and Bible Black, but I've not heard the live version of Starless.

I don't know what's up with Winamp but it's been taking forever to open when I try to play something.
