I haven't got much as of lately; most of the CDs I had were stolen.
I've started rebuilding my collection in the last year(albeit very slowly, as good albums are hard to find and forbiddingly expensive in Brazil); here's what I got so far: CDs: Some DVDs (I lent my Anesthetize DVD to a friend and I sold my Rush DVDs): Obligatory PF poster pic: And the best album of all time in double vinyl: Pardon me for the noisy pics.

How many are there? I estimate about 800, since it's a bit bigger than mine (mine is ~575 at the moment). Unfortunately, i've almost run out of space, and out of ideas on how to organize my collection in a neat way, since it's constantly growing.
I should really post a new pic sometime!

As a complete list of 2721 albums would just be too much here's a list of the artists. Most of them are complete discographies (NOT! John Zorn), although they are mostly lacking the live albums (don't like most of 'em). And I removed Nickelback so that nobody would laugh Sorry, haven't got any piccies. I hit the 1500 CD mark this year. My peak year for adding titles was 2004 with 131 new additions. I deliberately decided to slow it down for monetary and space and time reasons. Currently cycling through the whole collection (http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=71592&PN=1) since a couple of months before September 2010. At this rate, I'll complete the cycle a few months into 2012 at which point the world will come to end or something. I'll probably do a short cycle through the additions that came in after the long cycle started then end the blog.

Been mainly buying DVD's the past two years (I think Im around 250 now) so my CD collection is still near the 800 mark, I think. I'll start buying CD's from play.com and amazon again sooner or later.

Mine too. 128 so far, and about ten more on order. I figure I have about 1000 now. |
