My music compatibility with just about everyone who posted here thus far is V.High or Super - considering I haven't used LastFM for 2years I think that's pretty good, even if it means you guys are two years behind me Wink

I stopped because all the bands I was evaluating for Xover and PR were showing up on my playlists, which was distorting the stats too much.
What?

You can disable the scrobbler temporarily, you know. It's easy too.

It's been pissing me off though, since I listen to so much music through my iPod and speakers connected to it, and it seems to have trouble scrobbling my iPod a lot, so really it doesn't represent me.

Last.fm is really pissing me off. It's really inconsistent.Half of what I listen to doesn't get scrobbled. For example,I can listen to Master of Puppets one day and it scrobbles two tracks and listen to the same damn cd two days later and it successfully scrobbles the whole thing. This has been happening for a couple of months.Does anyone else have this problem?

^ That's odd...my scrobbler has actually become MORE accurate in the last couple of months. Which media player do you use?

Do you listen from a CD or from mp3 files or other encoded digital format such as FLAC? And, have you checked, if your tags are properly marked. I've noticed Winamp has been messing around with mp3 tags a lot lately with the newest version. That, and it cuts some songs short. Other than that, it's the best program out there. Nevertheless, even a slight problem with the tags of the file might cause the last.fm plugin to ignore the file.

When I first setup the scrobbler, I had to change the way Winamp displays the title of the tracks. I use "%title% - %artist%" without quotes to display titles. If you want to change it, go to options > preferences > Titles

Edit: If the song isn't properly tagged, or if you are watching a video on Winamp, then the title area will be blank, I don't know/care how to fix it, but if someone knows a better way then it would be helpful. Smile
