"Love Beach" Best Album of All Time?

Even with that silly cover, it is still a crap load better than 'in the hot seat'

I think the comparison to Trespass is grossly unfair. Genesis were still finding their feet at the time they made Trespass, as was Prog as a whole genre. Trespass is indeed a "transitory album" and occupies a logical step between "From Genesis to Revelation" and Nursery Cryme.

Love Beach however, is a completely different canario - sorry, scenario . ELP had already proved themselves by the mid 70's and after Brain Salad Surgery the fans (myself included) thought they knew what to expect from the trio. The Works albums were still fairly enjoyable, but Love Beach was a total let down on all sides. There is simply no excuse for it; a band as talented as ELP had already proved themselves to be should never have allowed its release.

PLEASE PUT LOVE BEACH IN YOUR STEREO RIGHT NOW AND TURN THE BASS-LEVEL A BIT HIGHER AND PLAY AT FULL VOLUME . THIS ALBUM IS EXECELENT . IT CONTAINS BEAUTIFULL ROLAND GUITAR SYNTHESIZER AND CLASSICAL- ELEMENTS. IN FACT , LOVE BEACH IS THERE BEST ALBUM EVER .DON'T EVER CRITISIZE THE MECHNICAL ASPECTS OF THE MUSIC. TONY BANKS, AND E.L.P. NEVER PUT OUT BAD ALBUMS . LOVE BEACH AWESOME AND BRILLIANT
