Where did you get that jacket?

Edit: oh, you made it yourself.  Cool!

Your pic looked vaguely familiar as well... Geek Maybe we've been to the same gigs or something?

Already featured in my profile, but why not take my turn here. It's from various events in my life taking span from September 2008 to Autumn 2009, so let's have a look on this weird dude who's talking, talking and talking.

Robert, I've saw your photo already (this one with sunglasses), but here, I realized one thing. Your avatar was right :-)

Page 7, you and micky talking about you being "taken" by mysterious somebody. Thread full of history. You know, being "new" here, it's useful & interesting to read about things that happened in past (even it's only three years ago).

My collage is based on photos I took from past year and half (till now), I can explain them, but it will take some time. This hint text will appear on my profile later (right now, just one person active in this thread saw hints for upper line, let's guess who is the one).

And from what I saw Raff, you don't use these words so often (very rarely), so thank you that I do look good to you. My girl surely finds me attractive (but that's just another story, I ask myself whether I can trust her judgment - looks like she's somehow influenced [A LOT] by my person).

I like having photos of myself. I know that there are some people who don't like this stuff (aren't photogenic and stuff like that), but I really like it. It is just another mean how to do some dramatic stuff (I like acting and theatrical acting especially), so same as theater actors do different characters (ranging from small to big, from good to bad in nature), I also like to discover where my true person is, which face is the best for me.

Honestly, which photo is the best (from rest) ? I saw your photos (page 67) and have to say that you look, well, different than I expected, but you don't have anything to regret.

Hope this makes sense, because to me, it ... it's worse.

Four generations of Browns (taken November, 2007).

My grandpa is on the left and passed early this afternoon.

He was 81.  He had suffered from emphysema for years, and a while back was involved in a car accident that caused brain damage (such that he did not really know who anyone was).  The nurses at the VA today checked on him and said he was fine, and then shortly thereafter came back to find he was gone, as though he'd gone to sleep.

Ed Brown was one of two men who initially inspired me to pick up the guitar (the other being my dad, there on the right).  My grandpa taught me the value of economy with the instrument.  He despised distortion, preferring to play cleanly and sweetly, even though my dad, with whom he shared a band, would play "dirty" anyway.  They made for an interesting pairing, and I'll never forget sitting at the bar at the VFW, listening to some great country music and sipping Shirley Temples.

"Papa" taught me to slow down, take my time, and "think ahead of the music."

Good advice for living, in a way.

Rest in peace, Papa.

Wow, that's really cool Robert.  Great story and advice from him.  My religious creds aren't exactly rock solid, but I'll say a prayer for your family.  Hopefully you can play something for him at the service.

Rest In Peace to your grandfather.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Sorry to hear Robert.  Soon as I saw the photo of your Grandad I knew what he had as the diesease took my mum 6 years back ( she was only 68 and never got to see those Great Grandkids she would have had). My dad now has ther same thing and the slow process is starting to take its toll on him.

Deepest Sympathy Matt

Thanks everyone.

I meant to mention that I was five-years-old or so when I was sitting at the bar at the VFW drinking Shirley Temples and listening to their band.  Embarrassed
