Exactly. And do I want to be with somebody who cares more about their hair than their direction in life? Absolutely not. I wear my hair long and unstyled to show other people that I don't care much about my outward appearance, and I think that makes me more approachable to the types of people I would electively hang around, so to me it's all about honestly and cutting down all the bullsh*te that people tend to put into how they 'appear' to others. It's definately a personality and societal statement when I choose to keep my hair long, but I do choose it for a reason. it's not just because I don't have any motivation to keep my hair a certain way, I just don't care. And others of like mind may recognize that in me and approach me as a result. See, it's all very tactical. |

Well, that's true. Maybe I should re-think this . . . *gets scissors* Edited by p0mt3 - September 05 2009 at 14:21 |

True, but if you wear it tastefully they don't mind as much. In my experience, anyways. |

I'm not going to cut my hair anytime soon. It won't let me.
Actually that almost makes a cool moustache.

If I ever grow a moustache it will most likely be one of those cool mutton-chop type ones that move from the sideburns to the upper lip to make a 'stache. It'll be pretty awesome.

I've shaved for almost 2 years now, but i've never shaved my sideburns. The longest strands are 3cm, which is a bit over an inch.
Not very thick, but still |

^Oh yes there they are. That's a poster that came with the Watershed special edition box.
Wow it took me this long to realize that the Macbook's Photo Booth program takes mirror images I started to wonder that since when have we had that poster on the opposite wall...

That's how I am. Yet one of my best mates is female and is always changing her hair. Almost daily. |

I used to really not care about my look. Half grown hair, ugly almost-mustasche and boring clothes (Not ugly, just boring).
Then i grew my hair pretty long and started wearing a bit more varied and interesting clothes Now i'm in a phase when i really like colorful clothes, weird hair colors and stuff. Still really like long, natural hair, though! I just needed a change. |
