That is unbelievably tragic, I can't imagine having to go through it and I pray I never have to.  Broken%20HeartCry

It's really weird.
This year alone, on that forum, there have been more than a few people family related to forum goers that have died.
Hell, even one of the admins bro in laws died earlier this year. It really sucked to hear that, because the admins over at Seymourduncan.com/forums never feel like 'admins' if you know what I mean, they always make you feel they are just another cool guy on the forum willing to give advice.

This is the only forum I visit.

Years ago before I got heavily into music I was more into gaming. I was an administrator at a couple old video game forums and a moderator at most others I visited. I quit that easily over 3 or 4 years ago now, however.

That does sound quite odd. It's always good when admins are like that though rather than power-hungry b*****ds.

At this forum, Harmonycentral.com, in the guitar related sections, people will make threads about epic fail posters and all that.
It can be incredibly amusing, but that's also the same reason after I made my account, I posted about twice there, and just never logged in againLOL

Damn. I wish I had counted how many posts I've made today. It would probably be quite interesting to take note... now I have absolutely no clue.

I mean of course, the admins are always admins, but I just loved the way the admins over there, not only participated in discussions about guitar gear, but also in the off topic section, they would talk about their family, or whatever, it was a really cool vibe.

Another forum I go on, an actual member died of cancer, and the thread about it, was made literally only about 4-5 weeks before I registered, so obviously I never saw the guy around on the forums, but it still makes me sad nonetheless.

Yeah, that's why I only post here at PA forums (or even visit). Most of the time the average maturity level of the posters is excessively low.

Of course. I know exactly what you mean. Forums are almost better than actual groups of people in real life---you can often carry on better, more serious conversations and judge people based on their thoughts rather than obsessing about appearance or something else trivial.

Today has been kind of a long day, but simultaneously has slipped out of my hands. I could have sworn I was below 4300 this morning... so I think. Though I don't remember. Dammit. LOL

I guess that's why sometimes I really do prefer forums to real life social situations.
On many of them, many of the members are mature, full grown educated adults, and it's good to see they care about stuff like politics, the economy or whatever, and not the crap many teenage people think they need to care about.
