I have been listening to The Antique for nearly an hour straight now.
My god, this song is amazing to listen to when it's raining outside in the middle of Autumn at midnight.

those 2 songs are good indeed. fine post rock/metal  thing, i can sense some hardcore moments there but they are well incorporated in the tunes.. some drones here and there but all's well

Underoath was alright. I enjoyed the album, but don't really see myself going back often or exploring their material very often.

Alexisonfire was just amazing though. So powerful and probably the best scream/clean singing pair I've heard. I also have Green's solo stuff which is almost as good. Loving it.

Did you listen to Define the Great Line? If that's not the one you listened to, I recommend that you give it a shot. I think it's better on all fronts.

I really like Alexisonfire's Watch Out! album. The other two don't strike me half as much, but they're not bad by any means. Green's vocals are sooooo good, although I don't quite care for the solo stuff. I mean, it's really nice, but it doesn't have a lasting impact on me.

Maybe I'll check it out. The one I gave a listen to is their newest effort. Honestly I got them confused with Unearth momentarily when I got it from my friend which is the only reason I asked for it. However, yes I shall listen to it.

We now have Blue Lambency Downward vinyl LPs available in the buy stuff section!

and you probably already know this:

We have also just completed the recording/mixing of the brand new, maudlin of the Well fan-funded reunion record (to be released for FREE online within the next couple weeks)! "We" meaning almost all the old members of MOTW (Toby Driver, Terran Olson, Sam Gutterman, Greg Massi, Josh Seipp-Williams, Jason Byron) along with Kayo Dot members Mia Matsumiya and David Bodie! So it's like a combo record of the two bands, cool!!!! Look here for the release info very soon.

Hold the f'ing presses, am I the first person to really see this? Taken from Toby's blog http://www.kayodot.net/toby/index2.html
