It's going to be on the DVD too...from the blog: "Magma is going to be coming out with another DVD in their Retrospective series, and the next DVD will feature this current show."

and

"The setlist was exactly the same each night. No variations at all.

  • Retrovision
  • Riah Sahiltaahk
(intermission)
  • Dondai
  • Felicite Thosz
  • Sl*g Tanz
(encore)
  • Maahnt"

Quite an interesting setlist. At least they're not repeating the Theusz Hamtaahk and Kohntarkosz trilogies.

Yeah, I'll be interested to see Retrovision, Riah Sahiltaahk and Maahnt especially.

What I didn't like about their live performance of Maahnt is that Aknin reproduced the weird processed vocals from the studio version. That singing makes me cringe, especially the belch.

Hmm, don't think it'd bother me.  As long as the bass is that nice line it is, I'll be happy. Tongue

Hell yeah, the rhythm section on that song is amazing.

Sl*g Tanz sounded awesome from the videos I've watched.

Yeah, it was pretty good when I saw it in DC and the blog author says it's gotten better every time he's seen it and now it's supposedly pretty freaking crazy.  I think he described it as sounding something like "Evil Steve Reich."  LOL

Oh dear, Sl*g Tanz and Félicité Thosz are not great tunes.  I'd still buy the DVD but urgh, those tunes...

I need some depressing or violent or loud music to listen to.  I'm in such a sh*tty mood currently.  I'm angry and upset.  Plus I'm an idiot. Cry

Damn you for living in North Carolina.

That'd be the one US State I'd consider living in.

Preferably Asheville.

Then I could buy a Moog, watch Gov't Mule a lot and also go and see Ahleuchatistas a lot too.

A friend of mine lives in Asheville, but he doesn't do any of those things. Asheville is awesome though.
