The lyrics to FOABP are terrible. In fact, all of Steve Wilson's lyrics are atrocious. Way Out of Here is one of the worst things I've ever heard. POOR EMO GIRL PEOPLE CARE ABOUT YOU I'M SO DREADFULLY SAD! When I was in high school I would have disagreed with Rob 2 more, but interacting with actual people at work (instead of what I think actual people are), as well as realizing that not all smart people act like me, and in fact they shouldn't act like me! Rereading some emo things I wrote at the time, I remember being obsessed with the concept of a "shallow person"--how one defines it, what causes it, what does it mean. That all seems terribly trivial to me now, but granted, me then would probably call me shallow now since I stopped reading books heavily when I was 16 due to lack of attention and I waste all my time on forums and games, and I can't even do my f**king schoolwork! So I don't know.

And I've found myself wondering whether or not books, which are designed to be read for pleasure as recreation, can really count as intellectual exercise. Physical exercise is difficult and not really pleasant on a base level, why should intellectual exercise be different?

I don't like the lyrics in FOABP either.

I should really care more about my online English class. I posted my response to the first discussion almost a week ago and just checked it today, and I completely missed a due date. LOL

You can ask me anything as long as it does not contain a meme.
