I feel like a computer program today, except my booleans keep switching by themselves and it's all very confusing.

I have decided to kick it in the face by practicing my hobbies so hard that I can't malfunction :3

manically switching between hula-hoop, 3-ball juggling, calligraphy and blues dance all set to various heavy metal from my collection. BRING IT THE f**k ON GENDER DYSPHORIA!

That sounds really busy, but it beats feeling bad. I like your calligraphy! I mostly just wish I could write legibly.

That's one year, many many many slates - multiple sketchbooks and notebooks and personalized greeting cards worth of practice LOL

Ooh, pretty writing again. I think my biggest problem is that I don't practice at all. I know that if you want to change your handwriting you have to start very slowly and deliberately, but I just can't.

Yeah - I set a whole day aside for it and watched beginners tutorials on youtube. The whole first day I don't think I actually finished a letter, it was just pages and pages of exercises to get the strokes right.

Learning makeup was a lot the same, but more eye-poking and pain

that's pretty funny

Actually I just use fountain pens for casual writing, for more ornate things (and practice) I use a dip pen

So Swans:
For the first three songs, I was in the front row. Terrible, horrible idea. Even wearing earplugs, I started to hear dangerous signs of hearing loss. Whenever the crowd screamed it was more of a warble. My earplugs kept vibrating violently inside my ears and it hurt. And I couldn't even really hear the music up there. Just a ton of unwanted frequencies from the amps. So I moved back. Better. Still a problem. So I moved further back to the bar, and I could hear everything. It was stellar. But I only got to hear the last song that way. I feel like I wasted my Swans experience. :(

So word of advice to future Swans concert goers: they sound best at least 20 feet away.

This is the most intense tinnitus I have ever had.
