    Nothing could better start for this new album of Bathyscaphe than this piece entitled Flexible which, in 6 minutes and 45 seconds, gives the opportunity to you to hear one of the most powerful titles and of most beautiful of this year 2004. It remained more for this Parisian group only to connect for the remainder of the album -11034m titles quite as strong as this Flexible device to do of them one of the most interesting albums of this first six-month period 2004.

    Born from a meeting with the top enters the labels (Monopsone and the Québécois Where are My records) -11034m follows upon a first album entitled Road Movie left on the structure Lykill records.

Directed towards the composition of film music since their beginnings, courts and full-length films, Bathyscaphe signs for their second test of the eminently cinematographic musics returning images (randomly) of cold lakes, or more largely evoking speed, the power such as can be to it this formidable submarine.

    In an energetic register post-rock'n'roll pointing out work of combos such as b*****d or Ulan Bator, Bathyscaphe makes a success of a quasi-perfect disc in which the group exploits the tended environments carried by a rhythm section étincelante, guitars/synthés cold and sharp giving an accent cold-wave to the pieces.

    Then one imagines the group well - Fred Charlot (samples guitars, sequences) his/her brother Olivier (low and sampler) and Cyril Moyer (battery) - to give all his power in concert with his throbbing loops, his guitars grinçantes, his rushes of batteries without end, which inevitably carry you in hypnotic fright sublimes.
