I find Kenny G hatred from Metheny quite ironic because 95% of Metheny's music sounds like you're watching the Weather Channel. I think Kenny G is terrible, of course, but there's nothing special about his awfulness.

Well opinions of Metheny's music aside, at least he has been original with a lot of what he's played/released.  The same can't be said about anything Kenny G has done.

What can I say, I've hated his music since I can remember first listening to it when I was probably 8 or 9.  That's the longest I've ever hated any person, so he's got a very special hate-spot in my mind.
