Funny, the complete core of the Spain team is The Barcelona team...
Whoever win this cup, it won't be a big team... I'm disappointed, this WC really s*cks...
Ah, but the Dutch team of the 1970s was a big team. I think it's good to have a new winner for a change.
I know, they were way better than this ugly team that can be THE team remembered on history... That is what I dislike... but well... I'm more interested in see if Klose still can beat Ronaldo's record of goals in WC. The game of saturday will be more interesting than the cup final...

Reading some interesting stuff about the match... This is I think the first match at the World Cup when Xavi was finally in full shape. He made 92 correct passes out of 106, that's 86% accuracy! (Mesut Ozil played 30 good passes out of 47.) Also, to my naked eye it seemed like it was the first time in this World Cup that the Spanish did advanced pressing, trying to regain the ball in the opponent's field. And that's what prevented the Germans to play their offensive game from the previous matches. Just look at the number of shots (on target or not) by the Germans during this tournament: 16 with Australia, 15 with Serbia, 13 with Ghana, 17 with England, 18 with Argentina, 5 with Spain!

Nope, England are in the final. All other teams have been disqualified due to unfair play and unfair sportsmanship. We played so badly we obviously didn't have a reason to play unfairly so we've been reinstated.

You think Germany will beat Uruguay? I do think so! The mighty octopus foretold that too. We might found some religious cult around that deep-sea-animal. Only if its oracle will be right again, of course. We'll see that in a few hours...
Anyway it's somehow strange that Germany is almost always in the half-finals but does not match it too often to win a world-cup (only 3 times). But Spain was by far better.
