...Also,it's like the monkey and jar thing...I can't grab and pull the bulb from it's housing as my fingers get stuck in the void where the bulb lives...Now...if I could only...tilt the..ceiling...Ah! Right...better leave it.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

I'm pleased its not just me!  Mine are all embedded in a high ceiling, for which I have to stand on a step ladder, with a paint stripper, to prize the sealant away first, before pulling the mechanism out to work on it.  when I do, a combination of builders rubble and dead wasps from the loft fall on my head, while I try to prize the bulbs out of their holders...Ouch

I'm so glad I still use candles....

Distracted completely from the course material I was creating today.... Got a request to do repeated courses on systems architecture in Bangalore today. Customer expects that, if I take the job, I could spend 3-15 days per month in India next year, just teaching that course. Confused

Up side of it: I could have (prog) curry any time of the day there  - and I know a prog band from Bangalore, who I included in PA myself last year....

I'll be discussing the details of the request next week. If I fall for it, I'm going to be offline quite often next year - and if it's not as succesful as the customer thinks, I'll still be able to go there 3 times for a week or so.
