I took the easy vote I guess - and went with that monster of an epic ALS. Love it.

Could have voted for 'In the Evening' for the ace middle section, and Tea for One (though it almost drags, which is quite fitting for the song's subject matter I suppose)

Three fine tracks there (not keen on TFO). Carouselambra for me.

I wanted to include "Nobody's fault But Mine" which is more or less the same length as "In The Evening" but I was strict with myself about the two longest from each. A shame becuase it is so good.

Achille's Last Stand is my favorite Zep song of the last 5 albums. Thumbs Up
Tea for One is also wonderful. Don't care much for the other two.

Love them all - Zeppelin's one of my favorite bands.  "Tea for One" is my favorite of those four.

I love Page's riffing all over Presence....especially on ALS.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Tea is one of my Zep faves.  Everything on In/Out Door sucks.

In Through The Out Door shows Zeppelin can / could do most things anytime.  Haha the world's greatest heavy rock band finally emerged in '79 with a decidely non-heavy rock album.

But it was Presence JP autographed for me so.... Achilles it is. Tea For One is a fabulous atmospheric piece. Carouselambra a mighty muti sectioned piece of prog rock. In the Evening a great example of guitar synthesizer work. Probably needed a crisper production though.

I definitely think that Presence had Zep experimenting more with some prog-rock sounds.  Let's remember it was released at the height of the popularity of bands like ELP, Yes and Genesis.  On the other hand, I think that Houses of the Holy might have been a far better release semi-experimental release.  As for long Zep tunes, Kashmir has always been my favorite.

Presence experimental with prog rock? You might mean Physical Graffiti and In Through The Out Door. Presence was quintessential heavy rock. Memo to all, check the guitar solo in For Your Life...
