Someone mentioned Operation Mindcrime. That's a very overrated album imo. I don't hate it but I fail to see what the big deal is.

+1 for OM🤷‍♂️

Hi,

Saw them on a tour with Dream Theater at the time, and their encore was one of the hits by The Who with the loud scream so James Labrie could rip our guts out! It was OK though ... but I thought that OM was not great ... but seeing them get ripped apart by DT at the time, was quite something else ... and it was clear that folks in the theater came to see DT, not anything else, except that Fates Warning (the opener) sure deserved much better than an audience of 10 folks including myself!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
I kind of dropped off Muse after Black Holes. They've become too Electro-pop and shouldn't have gone "Queen' with their nest two.
To me, Abso is their best by far, because of the addition of the piano, and in some ways, I'm happy that they didn't reproduce that since, making Lution a unique album in their discography.
I will give OOS another try ASAP, though.

I saw a full show broadcast a couple years ago, and they beome something I don't like, though I must hand it to them that they are awesome and what and how they do it.
Muse pretty much passed me by at the time, but a couple of years ago I listened to The Resistance quite a lot when I was helping to work on a cover version of Uprising. I had dismissed them as a more bombastic version of Radiohead, but taken on its own terms The Resistance is a pretty good 3rd Millennium reboot of early Queen. Origin of Symmetry is the one I return to most, and I will revisit Black Holes and Absolution sometime soon.

There's medicine for that.

Also watch what you eat.

Yup, it's called a MUTE BUTTON.
I've been to many countries and have eaten a lot of stuff, but I only get diarrhea with the Beatles.

Now see, that's click bait that will incite more posts about weed, old age, diet, and drinking.....
I plead the 5th and request a witness protection program.

Pleading the 5th means nothing to us non-Americans.
You also have never explained why you hate the Beatles.

Hate is such a strong word .....diarrhea, stomach cramps, pimples/acne on my buttocks are common occurrences when the Fab Four enter my ears.

We all have these symptoms when listening to bands we "can't stomach".

Still no explanation. What's so wrong with their music?!

Bro it really does not matter, I am in that special 0.00000000000000000000001% group that does not listen to the Beatles. If I said I don't like that they part their hair to the right, it would still be considered blasphemous to the Beatles fanatics.

On another forum there was a similar topic and people were totally mashing, defecating on all kinds of different artists. I mean big names like Springsteen, Metallica, Clapton, Zeppelin....the second I posted my disdain of the Beatles it was like I hit a spinal nerve and all the backlash came my way. It's truly a site to behold, the pedestal on top of Mt Everest that people put the beatles on is insane....I luv it!

Some bands are certainly noted for over zealous fans , The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Rush are the bands that cannot be trashed under any circumstances it seems.I like all of them personally. One band I just can't abide though is U2. The point of them totally escapes me.

From Unforgettable Fire until Achtung Baby (incl), they did little wrong, IMHO

Don't care for before or after that era.
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

''Thye did little wrong'' is not a statement that will ever make me want to listen to a band.

I used to like U2.
My U2 and KISS collection did not age well.
