If VdGG fans haven't seen it already, there's a great YouTube channel featuring audience recordings of the band from the 70s, along with great show descriptions and ratings of the recording quality. Some fantastic, very well recorded stuff is out there. Kudos to the poster!

https://www.youtube.com/@APlagueofLighthouseTapers

Strongly recommend checking it out.

Hi,

I hope that PH and Band, eventually release these on a CD, for fans, though I'm not going to censor these since for a long time, I was into bootlegs, and Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan had the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best bootlegs, next to The Grateful Dead ... and the GD has been releasing a lot of live recordings, so fans these days (a very different generation!!!) can have a better idea what the band was about.

PH and Band, were special and very different, and something that was well done was important, and I think that they knew that and they made it happen, but now, I think it would be the time to be able to make those shown properly for everyone. Seeing them on the toob is not my favorite way, specially as you only get one picture for it, and not an actual concert, at which point a CD would be more appropriate, that my wanting to actually see the band live is ... yeah ...
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

I find it difficult... but I'd also like them to come back! And if it's with David Jackson, even better. Hammill is one of the few who brings something new with each return, with nothing to envy of the past.

The last box set featured Live at Maison de la Mutualité, Paris, which sounds great.
