While both covers may look similar at first glance, both are representing different music genres and eras—Seven is embracing a bold abstraction characteristic of the vitality to be discovered in the colourful '70s jazz rock, and the other a minimalism that underscores awfully overrated yet boring alt-rock pseudo-intellectualism of the '10s. Normally, I prefer Seven, both music and art.

^ mission accomplished! But of course this was bound to happen, as this thread pits old versus new. I can sort of see your point except for the "intellectualism" part, don't hear that on HCE. But the upcoming SW release is all about that, so you should have a field day with it!

This statement, for some reason, reminds me of the kind of blanket word salads LLM AI bots would barf out. xD

Anyway, this "bust facing sideways" type of cover is one of the biggest clichés not only in prog but in rock in general.
