^ Thanks, David, clear now.
I think we can edit even 52 albums, but no rush here, we're don't have time limits.

Added the first three. But only three videos are shown on PA main page at the same time. I can add the rest now or you may remind me to add them later, when these three disappear from PA main page. It's up to you to decide. Edited by NotAProghead - February 28 2025 at 21:18 |

Updated albums 4 & 5 from Julien's list of 52 albums:
This had just "Track title" as track 2. I also added in the track listing of the 12" single version, & the correct release references for the first issues of both versions, from Discogs. No track listing at all (just had the word 'unknown' written there). I also added the correct release reference from Discogs, and swapped a tiny (and blurred after being enlarged) cover photo for the one from RYM's page for the album. Edit: Albums 6 & 7 now also updated: This had 'Track title' as name of track 1, no track 2 'B' side song title, incorrect releases info, and a lousy cover. This had the default text still showing at bottom of track list field 1. Track title (3:04) 2. Track title (9:07) Also no total times, & no releases info. The first eight albums in the list have now all been updated. Edit 2: I've also had a look at album 9 in the list: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=26402. It just says 'no info' in both the track listing and musicians info fields, and 'self-released' in the releases info. I couldn't find the detailed information for this album anywhere on line, but it did exist, the cover is correct, and 2002 was the correct year of release. See: https://drownedinsound.com/in_depth/1312600-discover--the-monroe-transfer, and an interview conducted in November 2006 with the band's leader - a guy named Nick Gill: "There were two little albums before 'Electric Old Wire Noise', but they were just made by me, in my lonely room, on a load of crap equipment, with very little idea of what I was doing. There was one called 'wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallofuslordbutweregratefulthatyoudo' and the second was '67 moons', and there were 50 and 67 copies of them, respectively. At that point I'd never thought of playing live, so there wasn't really any way I could try to sell loads of them; besides, I was making everything, burning all the CDs and making the sleeves by hand, so it seemed sensible to only make a few. They were a bit noisier, and certainly more amateurishly produced, than our actual album. There are a few clips of things on our website, but I don't think we have any particular plans to make anything available. We're still very small and insecure – maybe if we get a bit more established, we'd be confident enough to let early, rougher material out into the world. Most of the stuff we play live is on the first two albums, in early form, though." Their website died a death circa 2018, and their Facebook hasn't seen any activity since a single post in August 2020, and that was the first one since September 2017, so there seems little point trying to contact them for information. Nick Gill does also have his own personal Facebook page, but he's never posted anything on it other than a profile picture and a cover photo (though he does have 467 friends, so I guess he must use it). I'll message him about the '67 Moons' track list, but I'm not really expecting a reply from him. The first 'real' album the band released was thus 'Electric Old Wire Noise' in 2005. I can tell you that there were 33 tracks on '67 Moons' and just 67 copies were made - all in handmade sleeves, and all sold. See the Internet Archive capture of their old Myspace page here. The musicians info would need to say something like: - Nick Gill / all instruments, since he made the album himself in his bedroom. All I can think of for the track list would be to include something like: 1. Unknown 2. Unknown 3. Unknown 4. Unknown 5. Unknown 6. Unknown 7. Unknown 8. Unknown 9. Unknown 10. Unknown 11. Unknown 12. Unknown 13. Unknown 14. Unknown 15. Unknown 16. Unknown 17. Unknown 18. Unknown 19. Unknown 20. Unknown 21. Unknown 22. Unknown 23. Unknown 24. Unknown 25. Unknown 26. Unknown 27. Unknown 28. Unknown 29. Unknown 30. Unknown 31. Unknown 32. Unknown 33. Unknown Total Time Unknown ![]() Regarding the 'wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallofuslordbutweregratefulthatyoudo' album: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=26401, that unwieldly title is screwing up the alignment of all the album cover images to the right of it on the main page. I'd be inclined to include a space in the middle to force the title where it appears underneath the cover image into two lines, so that it's shown there just as it is on the album cover itself: wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallof uslordbutweregratefulthatyoudo The album title won't look quite right in the heading at the top of the page if you do this, but I think that would be better than the mess we've got at the moment. Otherwise maybe you could just write the title abbreviated as: "wedontknowhowyou...weregratefulthatyoudo", or "wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallofuslord...", which should condense it sufficiently so that it doesn't wreck the album alignment on the page, whilst still keeping it as a single line without any spaces. Other amendments needed on that same album page are the number of copies made (50, not 60) and year of release (2001, not 2002). See the archived Myspace link again for confirmation of that. Once again the musicians info for that album would just be: - Nick Gill / all instruments. The last thing you might want to consider doing is to update the artist photo on their main page. It's a very small 176x226 image, and looks pretty awful when blown up to full size on the page. This one is from their Facebook: ![]() Full size image is 720x720, and can be found here. You could always crop some of the tree trunk off the image to bring the musicians more into focus. ![]() The top image actually looks the sharper of the two as they are displayed here in this post, but once the PA software has done its resizing work with them, the bottom one would probably look sharper on the actual page itself - especially if you crop it yourself from the original full sized image on Facebook. ^ Thanks, David, all done. I also moved 'wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallofuslordbutweregratefulthatyoudo' and '67 moons' to Promo/EPs.
I think it would be more convenient to have the list of unhandled albums here than on previous pages. So here it is (copied from Julien's post and actualised):

^ David, a remark on Discogs reads: "Recorded in bedrooms and corridors in Oxford, 2001-2002".
If it's true the release year can't be 2001. ![]() Edited by NotAProghead - Yesterday at 11:45 |

Album #10 in Julien's list: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=26535. No track list, incomplete (and partly incorrect) musicians info, incomplete releases info, wrong cover (the current cover has been used with this album, but wasn't used for its earliest release, which was done digitally). 1. The other two Tomàn albums aren't in Julien's list, but also need work doing on them (all added by the same SC). The band biography is only two lines long, and there is no artist photo. ![]() I'll also post the amendments needed for the other two Tomàn albums here in due course, if nobody else has dealt with them in the meantime. ![]() - E&O Team: Thanks, David, all done. Except the line-up of the Catching A Grizzly Bear, Lesson One album (I couldn't find info).

I'd personally rather trust the band's own official Myspace page than a comment on Discogs. According to that Drowned in Sound interview that was conducted with the band's leader Nick Gill - who actually made the album himself - the album was recorded in his lonely room rather than bedrooms and corridors in Oxford, so I'd treat the remark with a pinch of salt. It sounds to me as if the background behind the album has been altered somewhat by people over the years to create a bit of local folklore, or an 'urban legend', and that folklore has ended up being posted on Discogs! The lack of any images of the handmade cover on Discogs also makes me suspicious regarding the accuracy of the contents of that particular page, since if it was based on having an actual copy of the album to hand, you'd have expected the uploader to have also included a photo of the cover. As far as I know, the band was based in London rather than Oxford, and Discogs also say in that remark that there were 60 copies of the album made, when on both Myspace and Drowned in Sound - straight from the horse's mouth, really - the figure is given as 50. 'Bedrooms and corridors of Oxford' definitely sounds a bit fishy to me lol, so I wouldn't trust the date range either. ![]() Edit: Information tends to get distorted as it passes from person to person, and Last.fm also says that 'wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallofuslordbutweregratefulthatyoudo' was released in 2002 - with '67 Moons' not being released until 2003 - but who knows where they got their information from. ![]() - E&O Team: Thanks, David, done.

^ No worries, Mayer - easily done - and now fixed.
I'd be tempted to include a note to say that the the album was a concert recording made on October 20, 2024 at the Kadr Culture House in Warsaw, Poland, and features songs from Marcin's two most recent albums, "In The Space" and "The Maze", but I'll leave it up to the E&O team to decide whether that is necessary or not.

The core line-up would have been the same as it was for the subsequent album 'Perhaps We Should Have Smoked The Salmon First', since the band didn't have any changes in personnel until well after that album had been recorded, when bass player Jens Vanysacker left in late November 2006. Senne Guns joined Tomàn in February 2007 on keyboards, and guitarist Alexander Vanysacker then joined in March 2008. It's not possible to give the exact details of the instrumentation (ie instrument manufacturers' names) that the guys used like we could on the other two albums, but essentially the line-up and instrumentation would have been very close to this: - Jens Vanysacker / bass, vocals - Lode Vlaeminck / drums, keyboards, synthesizers, vocals - Wouter Vlaeminck / guitar, electric piano, violin, effects, vocals - Bram Pauwels / guitar, programming, effects, vocals With: - Pieter Jan / saxophone - Elodie / saxophone ^ Those are definitely the names of the musicians who played on the album, and even if the exact details of the instruments that they used can't be verified for certain, they are most likely going to be quite similar to the instruments used on the band's subsequent 'Perhaps We Should Have Smoked The Salmon First' album, which was released the following year. Note: Wouter Vlaeminck also played a horn on 'Perhaps We Should Have Smoked The Salmon First' (Aunt Christa's seahorn lol!), but I can't confirm that he did on this one, so I've left that instrument out. I found a review of the 'Catching A Grizzly Bear, Lesson One' album here which mentions the use of a violin, so that confirms that he definitely did use this instrument on the album. Both of Tomàn's old websites (http://tomantheband.brinkster.net/, and http://www.toman.be/ are no longer on line, so the only current one we could use is probably going to be Facebook, though even that hasn't been updated since June 2021. The name of the band is usually spelt with a grave accent over the letter 'a', so I'm wondering if we should do the same here. Discogs keep mis-spelling the name of the Belgian city of Ghent as just 'Gent' on these Tomàn albums, so the line: "Mixed at Jürgen De Blonde his home in Gent", in the 'Catching A Grizzly Bear' album, could be more accurately written as "Mixed by Jürgen De Blonde at his home in Ghent". I'll hopefully put together a more detailed biography for Tomàn sometime during the next day or two. - E&O Team: Thanks, David, done. I would keep the name Toman because on 2 of their 3 albums it's written this way. We can make a remark in forthcoming bio, something like 'TOMAN (or TOMÀN) is ....' The next album from Julien's list, https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=27716, has now had its primary problem fixed (it only had the tracks shown as 1. 2. 3. with no song titles entered alongside those numbers). I think the cover image should also be updated though. The current one is just a standard empty Static Caravan record label sleeve, and I think this image showing the single itself in one of those sleeves would be better. Discogs use an image of the single surrounded by just a black border though, so I'll let you E&O guys pick the image that you think would be best.
