^ Thanks, you have been a significant inspiration on my tastes, by the way with your recommendations, which I have mentioned before but I feel deserves mention again.

Heresie, Stuntman, Musique pour l’Odyssée. Too many great albums here, if I start mentioning  the ones I love that I can't vote for, I'll end up with half the list.

It's number 9 on Jared's list and number 6 on Richard's list in this topic and from those I recognised the omission for the year. I added a couple of albums to this list that should have been on it. To err is Log-an; to amend, Log-ical.

Ah, cool. I mean, with my avi, that could be downright embarrassing.

^ That's true. And I love your avatar. It's a case of me not having connected the album with this specific year.

3) Hackett: Spectral Mornings
4) UK: Danger Money
5) Anyone's Daughter: Adonis
6) PF: The Wall
7) Sky: Sky
8) Tull: Stormwatch
9) Froese: Stuntman
10) MMEB: Angel Station
11) Vangelis: China
12) Camel: I can See Your House
13) Oldfield: Platinum
14) Zep: Out Door
15) Supertramp: Breakfast
16) Renaissance: Azure d'Or
17) Vangelis: Opera Sauvage
18) Hawkwind: PXR5
19) Grobschnitt: Merry-Go-

I hope you like it.... I've broken quite a sweat putting this together!!   LOL

Suggestion, when preparing such lists in the sauna, try to keep the temperature lower to mitigate steamroom sweat. Very nice list, thanks for preparing and sharing! While I knew that I wanted Vangelis' China in the poll but opted to leave it off due to space limitation, I totally missed adding Vangelis', I think excellent, Opera Sauvage which has been one of my favourite Vangelis albums. I have added it to my list at Awesomeprog.

So here are my favourites of yours:
TD: Force Majeure
PF: The Wall
Froese: Stuntman
Vangelis: Opera Sauvage
Zep: Out Door
Vangelis: China
Supertramp: Breakfast

Also have known and liked Anyone's Daughter: Adonis. I should give that Hackett album a proper listen, and probably try that that UK again (been many years, wasn't for me at the time) and I have liked that Camel album and music off of Stormwatch. Good stuff! Oh, and I really should get down to listening to more Manfred Mann's Earth Band. I like his Solar Fire album from 1974 a lot.

I liked plenty of music from this year, but seeing the other mentions, I know it's a finer year still than what was in my head when I made the poll.

Henry Cow, This Heat, and Supertramp. My biomass is apparently holoplanktonic.
