Thanks, added info to the original entry. Will re-use deluxe page for some newly added release. I think in cases like these we should have no mercy - 3 or several bonus tracks don't make a new release.

Over the past five days, I've re-scanned all of PA's album pages — nearly 80,000 in total. Now, I can analyze them in any way you'd like. To my surprise, only eight pages have the "" issue: Would you like me to check for anything else in this fresh database?

You scanned the albums database back at the end of January 2021 to reveal all the other common issues that occur when site members add albums without due care and attention, and there were 16257 albums with no total time, somewhere around 9768 albums without individual track times, 59 albums with empty track lists, 2443 albums with empty line-ups and 4928 albums with empty release info. We dealt with the 59 empty track lists as a team effort, but the rest of it was considered to be an impossible task, so was left alone. Doubtless even more of these albums with incomplete data will have been added during the four years that have elapsed since you last scanned the database, but since we are powerless to do anything about it there's not really any point in scanning the fresh database that you have just compiled, other than for interest's sake. Perhaps another check for empty track lists might be worth doing, since any more of those that have been added in the last four years would be fairly easy to correct again. I guess it would be interesting to know just how much these other lists have grown over the last four years as well even if we can't do anything to fix them, so if you have the time to do it, then why not?

^ Well, there have been some nice improvements since 2021. Most of the numbers have decreased, despite the fact that the database has grown significantly. See for yourself:
I think we could fix empty track lists. Below, I've listed 52 albums that meet at least one of the following criteria: - No track list at all - A track list with fewer than 10 characters - The words "Track title (" are present within the track list Do you accept this new challenge?

^ Yeah, empty track lists is easy - we cleared all 59 of those back in 2021, so just four new ones now should be a doddle. As for the rest of them, I think we should certainly have a look, see what needs doing, and fix them if we can. Let's see what Eugene's thoughts are.
![]() I looked at the first one for starters, which is disgraceful being as it was added by an SC lol! Everything needed except the track times and a decent cover image is on Discogs, with a better cover image being available on RYM. I'm really quite surprised at the drop in the totals some of those other lists. I guess you guys here in E&O must have fixed most of those. Only the empty release info list has actually increased.

From Julien's list of 52 albums (3rd one down): https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=17611.
1. Introduction (1:15) 2. Salina (4:47) 3. (You've Got To) Stop The World (4:30) 4. Byzance (2:49) 5. Lament (5:00) 6. (You've Got To) Stop The World (0:55) 7. Ouverture (1:42) 8. Watertales (2:45) 9. Somebody Loves You (3:46) 10. Franky (2:45) 11. Circle (Part 1) (2:37) 12. Circle (Part 2) (6:20) Total Time 39:11 Better cover image here (could be made better still with some minor work with a clone stamp tool along the top edge & corners). Am I allowed to just go ahead and fix some of these (ie the easy ones) myself, or do you want the details posted here so that all of them are fixed by the official E&O Team?

^ Thanks.
Have done the first two. Original info: ![]() Fixed using info from And: Original info: ![]() Fixed using using info from: I think they both look better now. ![]() Edit: Ignore the year of release given on the Disqu-O-Québec page for that second album (1977). The releases summary page here has it correctly shown as 1979, which is what everywhere else seems to agree on too. Both Discogs and Disqu-O-Québec have the album as a compilation (as do we), but they also say: "L'enregistrement des pièces "Live" a été fait au théâtre St-Denis à Montréal" (apparently in 1974). More info about the band here: https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/ville-emard-blues-band-emc. I guess it's a compilation of selected live recordings from that venue, so I haven't moved it from compilations to live. There is a similar (but not identical) set of recordings from the same theatre here, which I think definitely needs moving from studio albums to live. That particular album isn't in the list of 52, but it has no track times, which can be found at Discogs. Side A (24:29): 1. Soumis (2:35) 2. Octobre (Au Mois De Mai) (6:12) 3. Ville Émard Blues (3:42) 4. Comme Par Magie (6:00) 5. That Ain't No Way To Be (6:00) Side B (23:08): 6. Ste-Mélanie Blues (4:04) 7. Ode (À Une Belle Inconnue) (6:10) 8. Make Some Music (3:53) 9. Kondy Donky (9:01) Side C (19:36): 10. Pixieland (3:27) 11. Indian Giver God (4:49) 12. City Music (4:45) 13. Poirots Névroses (6:35) Side D (24:16): 14. Strangle/Solos De Batteries/Yama Nekh (15:39) 15. You And Your Mother (8:37) Total Time 91:29 The time of 15:39 is for the first three tracks of side D combined, so I've moved them all onto the same line in the above track list in an attempt to make this clear to anyone viewing the page. The musicians info section isn't formatted very well either, and I get the feeling it may not be all that accurate anyway. The complete instrumentation for each track on the album is clearly shown in this image on the Disqu-O-Québec page, but it would take some considerable time to sort through it all and rearrange it in PA style...or even compare it with what's shown on our page at the moment (for me at least!). I might have a look at it tonight if I feel daring enough. ![]() The releases info is missing completely: 2xLP Funkébec - FK2-700 (1974, Canada) A much better cover image can be found here.
