ED ALLEYNE-JOHNSON Ed's main claim to fame is having once been a member of New Model Army, but with Cromwellian aspirations of going his own way in life, Ed stepped out of the shadows after the NMA's recording of The Love of Hopeless Causes in 1983, embarking on a solo career of busking and recording with his homemade purple electric violin. As well as writing much of his own material, Ed has recorded many amazing cover versions of songs we all know and love, giving them all his own inimitable twist. Wait a minute, there's someone at the door..... Who's here? It's Baba O'Riley! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Edited by Psychedelic Paul - February 20 2025 at 04:49 |

ARC Ian Boddy & Mark Shreeve: the Arc of the Covenant when it comes to high-octane British electronica, especially for fans of Tangerine Dream.

ARECIBO You may know him better as Lustmord (Aka. Brian Williams), or you may not know him at all. Either way, Brian has been searching for E.T. using the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico (the largest in the world and last featured in the finale of James Bond's Goldeneye), but all he's picked up are some Trans Plutonian Transmissions consisting of various weird, cosmological sound effects, the like of which you haven't heard since Star Trek, in what is arguably the most self-indulgent album since the last collaboration between Brian Eno & Robert Fripp. ![]() In the unlikely event that an astronaut should ever venture to Pluto, then he'd better take a coat. ![]() |

AURORIS Red-shifted towards the Progressive Electronic end of the Space Rock spectrum, Auroris is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist A.Rudd, who creates an aurora borealis of colourful soundscapes and unleashes all of the awesome power at his disposal on the fifth Auroris album: "It's Coming Through the Trees" - which has no known connection to Kate Bush. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
