I love to see these kinds of polls. :)

I saw this right after submitting my 1975 list to AwesomeProg (been working my way down the years) https://awesomeprog.com/release-polls/pa/aoty-1975/users/Logan. It needs more work, but here is my top 20 of 60 from there right now as I see Mikes also shared his. The order is very flexible, will be adjusted more, and generally loosey-goosey.

1. Cortex - Troupean Bleu
2. Hatfield and the North - The Rotters' Club
3. Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
4. Tangerine Dream - Ricochet
5. Neu! - NEU! '75
6. Harmonia - Deluxe
7. Van Der Graaf Generator - Godbluff
8. Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
9. Area - Crac!
10. Klaus Schulze - Timewind
11. Hawkwind - Warrior on the Edge of Time
12. Vortex - Vortex
13. Lula Côrtes e Zé Ramalho - Paębirú [AP Prog]
14. Henry Cow - In Praise Of Learning
15. Richard O'Brien - The Rocky Horror Picture Show [AP Prog-Adj]
16. Egisto Macchi - Contemporanea [AP]
17. Dzyan - Electric Silence
18. Slapp Happy - Desperate Straights (with Henry Cow)
19. Kraftwerk - Radio-Activity (Radio-Aktivität)
20. Tangerine Dream - Rubycon

From the poll, I will go with Hawkwind now even if Wish You Were Here is currently higher on my list (right before that I put Hawkwind higher, whatever, both are great) I can't really decide on an order for it, too much I love from the period. I got much more into that band recently and that is an excellent album. Libra and Odyssey are some other particular favourites. I was expecting to see Dzyan but very happy with what I voted for.

I always thought Electric Silence by Dzyan was a 1974 release (that is why you didn't see it listed, but I may have that wrong).....thanks for your list, Greg.

^ Actually thoiught that might be the case. PA says 1974 and I may well have the date of first release wrong. Discogs agrees with you and Prog Archives.

^ I've changed the Dzyan release to 1974 - it's wrong at RYM. I usually check Musicbrainz in this case, Discogs is the most reliable but Musicbrainz has a better interface IMHO, and also links to Discogs:

Wish You Were Here, followed by "not on the list" Physical Graffiti and Minstrel in the Gallery.
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

Forgot about the two first here, and left out Macchi. Both Contemporanea and Voix are two of my favorite 1975-albums.

The obvious one...
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution
