AHM
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

It came down to Pink Floyd’s Atom Heart Mother and Amon Duul II’s Yeti. I opted to stomp my big snowy foot on the not abominable Yeti option.

Hi,

My favorite as well, and specially because of the incredible guitar work all the way through it ... it is phenomenal and it is a shame that no one recognizes John Weinzierl for his beautiful touch and play. The whole thing in my mind is about a spaceship landing ... and I always want it to continue and not stop ... absolutely exceptional, and much more valuable as an experience than AHM, which I love, however, since I heard the classical piece by Ron Geesin, it has become my favorite version of it, and it is way better than what was put in the album, which suggests that the band screwed around with what Ron Geesin had been able to put together, which is more of a classical piece than it was some kind of a rock song. Sorry PF fans, but in this case Ron Geesin wins and that takes the vote away from PF.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
