That version of Waters is simply extraordinary for me Wink

The Final Cut in this contexy,

but I prefer Amused to Death, a great album.
Amos Goldberg (professor of Genocide Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem): Yes, it's genocide. It's so difficult and painful to admit it, but we can no longer avoid this conclusion.

It's one of those albums where the emotion is tangible. I get that people don't like Waters but man...

The Final Cut. Last year I've seen it performed live by a tribute band with Harry Waters as guest and it deserves more love, IMO. I quite like Pros and Cons, but I don't think Clapton is the best fit for Waters stuff.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Gilmour is the best guitarist suited for Roger's stuff.
Beck did quite a good job too.

Dave Kilminster is also great on Is This The Life We Really Want? I saw him play on those DSOTM and Wall shows that RW did in the 10's. Before RW he also played with Keith Emerson and The Nice in the early 00's. A guy that has the confidence to be anywhere near those two prog luminaries has something about him I would venture!

^ I prefer him over Clapton and Beck, who are awesome guitarists ("better" than Kilminster if looked at in isolation) but do not complement Waters as well as Kilminster (and Gilmour) do.

Floyd on this one and even if 'Pros and Cons' is a Waters album I tend to be positive about, there is something about the art rock edge of 'The Final Cut' that makes it more compelling than repulsive.
