Some truly wonderful jazz classics among these:

Miles Davis - Filles de Kilimanjaro (the one I voted for)
Herbie Hancock - Speak Like a Child
Miles Davis - Miles in the Sky
Alice Coltrane - A Monastic Trio
Miles Davis - Nefertiti
&
Chick Corea - Now He Sings, Now He Sobs, but for the version with nine excellent bonus tracks.

I LOVE Autumn, Lumpy Gravy, and Nefertiti (though the June-July-1967-recorded album is sometimes listed as a 1967 release), but my heart leaps with excitement at the sight of DAVID AXELROD's Song of Innocence. So far ahead of its time!

It's thanks to Chick Corea being added to PA recently that I remembered to include him in the poll. Smile

Debut U.S. Jazz Fusion albums to look forward to in 1969:-

Chicago
Larry Coryell
Jack DeJohnette
Santana
Tony Williams Lifetime

From my inner child to the PA Father Paul to the Man inside... only one band put their blood, sweat, and tears into your 1968 PA poll.  They waited a long time for this moment.Wink

In a Silent Way, I posted the 1969 Jazz Fusion poll today, where Blood, Sweat & Tears and Miles Davis are again both in play. Smile
