Not prog but deserves a listening or more

Golden Earring :

Back Home (single from 1972 I think)
Together : a 1972 LP ( track Brother wind)
Barry Hay* (singer, flute and sax player) of Golden Earring has recorded a solo LP in the early 7Oies
Title is "Only parrots, angels and frogs"
Barry played flute/sax on one or a couple of tracks
A rare original LP with a beautiful cover-art by the way

Golden Earring was a duct band (from the city od Den Haag (The Hague) but Barry was an english citizen

Storchi. The flutist plays the lead riffs. The music is written specifically for her

Hi,

the albums from La Maschera di Cera have some nice flute.

See e.g.

You can also check the latest album by my band Lukas Tower Band:
We use flute in some of the tracks (e.g. on the title track), saxophone on other.

Cheers
