Juergen Fritz of Triumvirat has finally released "The Triumvirat Melodies" Part 1. These are old songs by Triumvirat whose melodies are captured by Mr. Fritz , himself, on piano, and the original main vocals have been retained, as well....Triumvirat lives!

It's a shame that a lot of the not-so-indie artists (like Jürgen Friz or Roine Stolt) avoid Bandcamp in favor of streaming and Amazon or Apple Music.

The sister of the departed Triumvirat member Helmut Koellen, Elke Schlimbach, does some vocal work in The Triumvirat Melodies.....so nice to hear!

All - it is truly a pleasure to see this release.
I am looking for help with getting the Triumvirat catalog included on Amazon Music. This requires licensing and permission from the current license entity. To that end, does anyone know who currently holds the rights to the bands catalog ? Best, John R

Hi, Not sure bandcamp is the problem, although I have not heard some good things about it ... but then, I don't see a famous "producer" create his own streaming site for all of his bands and works ... which would hurt a lot of these rip the artist folks, and take a lot of middle-men off the whole thing. It's hard to not think that bandcamp, and many other sites are not a part of the record companies ... and they are stealing money left and right and there is no way that you can find out how many TRUE plays there were and how much was bought ... it continues to be hidden, just like the record companies did! We saw them get big and famous, and the artists? ... Screw them! This has to change! The sad thing is that this is the way of the future, and it costs a lot less to produce the CD and the cover and the art, etc, etc. I was not a great fan of the streaming thing, mainly because it was centered towards SINGLES, and not albums, and we can see that here with folks liking something for one song, and not being able to say anything about the album, itself. I have never been a fan of Apple, who, in my book is one of the worst, in terms of having created something to get some money, however small it was, but it made a direction for the future ... though, in my book the hard part, again, is that many folks don't even bother listening to the album at all. But one thing that really got me angry ... a Beethoven Symphony was treated like 4 downloads ... separated in various parts, and that just said it all for me ... it was NEVER about the music, but how much money you could get ... and folks thought it was cool ... and still do. I'm 74 now, and have to get rid of my LP's, CD's and books, because I have to move and I can NOT carry them, or find someone to help me move into a new place ... and at that point, my only option is ... turn it all into mp3's for my library and then I can let go of the album or CD. Like it or not, you and I have to come and meet the future ... we can't live in the past as it will hurt us more and more as time goes by!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
