Cover art for Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay
Magdalena Bay - Magdalena Disk

According to RYM this is the top album of the year so far. Listening to it, it reminds me a bit of US Girls - I think just the vocals are in a similar range? - but the songs are better than the past couple of US Girls. Anyways pretty good pop songs, not sure if it'd top my list but glad I'm listening to it.

Ok was googling that last group (Magdalena Disk) and discovered that the two principle members had previously formed a prog rock group called 'Tabula Rasa', who is even here on PA. Giving it a try

Tried it myself because of RYM and I agree, pretty good overall! Gonna give it a few more spins later.
