That reminds me that I still have to replace my own (never had the CD). I still don't know which version to get, because The Who's recorded legacy has been sonically tampered with so many times, that hear there are some real sonic atrocities out there for everyone of their albums.

Which version would be sonically best and still have a great ptresentraion (other than that horrible fatboy double jewel case I still see in shops) ?

Man, I wish Townshend would revisit those Face Dances and It's Hard tracks......they were never meant for Daltrey's razor-edged voice - no subtlety and nuance.  Some of those songs need Pete's cracking croon to bring  them alive.  I've Know No War being one......sigh.  
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
