Yep. If you don't know them I highly suggest checking them out! A little bit of symph, a bit of fusion, jazz, proto new age and maybe something else too. Mostly instrumental to boot!

I do! They are more capital P prog than anything Kansas, Styx, Ambrosia, Starcastle ever did imo

I also love Ambrosia's debut and not so much the other three listed Smile

Those were some of the biggest. There was also Utopia, Crack the Sky, Pavlov's Dog and a whole host of others many of which were one shot bands. I think early Kansas were very much big P prog and the only US band from the 70s I might put ahead of HTM but HTM are definitely underrated these days which is saying something because even Kansas are a bit underrated in prog circles (imo).

Le Orme Elementi album cover

Le Orme - Elementi

Ok, that's all the Le Orme I currrently own. Great band and one of the big three of Italian prog (Banco and PFM being the others).

Happy The Man - Crafty Hands

Although considered (and rightly so) to be a rather legendary US prog band (by those who know) they nonetheless sure seem very underrated and underappreciated on this website.

"Service with a smile" demonstrates that a highly proggy song doesn't need to be 25 minutes long .

^Flower, our tastes very much align it seems!

I love the early Moodies (with Mike Pinder) - my favorites change day to day (Chord, Dream, Children, Boy, Sojourn). Days and Question are more patchy in my view.
