The Stark Reality was a little known jazz rock band from Boston Massachusetts, in 1970 they would release a double LP called "The Stark Reality Discovers Hoagy Carmichael's Music Shop", a reimagining of children's album by songwriter Hoagy Carmichael to be used for the show Hoagy Carmichael's Music Shop which aired on PBS. The band sound is a fusion of mostly improvised jazz(bebop and soul jazz) and psychedelia, all coming together to make a unique sounding (and slightly avant) prog fusion album. Unfortunately the band broke up after a failed tour

Please excuse the long wait. Our team has built up an extensive backlog after a long spell of inactivity and we are only now getting to clear artists that were suggested to us in 2022. Worry not, it won't take that long to clear The Stark Reality (and I don't doubt that they will be cleared) but be advised that it might take another month.
