My God. All these icons of music and TV passing lately. Very sad. RIP to all of them.
This message was brought to you by a proud supporter of the Deep State.

That's a big one. RIP! I have made an own thread for him.
Other than being German, the article also isn't very well informed. Chris Karrer has made albums with ADII well after 1980 and even in 2009, and played live with them at least up to Covid times.

^ Oh, terrible.   He was magnificent in everything he did-- the CIA plant in The Ghost Writer, the mobster in Batman Begins, the husband transitioning in Normal, and of course all of his better-known roles over the decades.

A huge loss to acting.

Tom Smothers (86)
RIP
I cut my comedy teeth on the Smothers Brothers. Seeing them on the Ed Sullivan Show in the mid '60's and then their own show.

RIP Benjamin Zephaniah, died age 65. A fantastic poet, saw him perform many times from around 1980 onwards and met him on a number of occasions. A lovely, lovely man, kind and gentle but with a wicked sense of humour and always a twinkle in his eye. Much of his poetry reflected the world he grew up in and the social and racial injustices he saw around him and he became a huge positive influence on the youth and communities that he championed. He will be very, very much missed. RIP BenjaminCry

Listening to the Crossroads theme (from Venus and Mars) as I type. Probably as good a guitarist as any in the seventies (Band On The Run is fantastic) and also as mentioned wrote the enduring sixties classic British soul tune (who else was doing that at the time?) ''Go Now'' for the Moodies. RIP Denny Laine.
