been gone for a week in my case, but it reappeared a couple of days ago, but only temporarily (gone again)

I can post from Edge, but with Firefox (my preferred browser), the text posting window stil is invisible. 

Anybody else has got that experience? 


It's still like this for me. I post from Chromium (which I otherwise don't use, so it's an inconvenience).

Whenever I am able to post from Firefox, I get this as well, but I don't get it when posting with Edge

Last week, it was the other way around Wacko

I used Firefox to get rid of these scripts on posts from edge.

prefer the sink to the gutter

as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen

I'll re-post what I posted in the "weird" topic in case it helps anyone.


I had this injection of code into the text issue years ago, which in my case had to do with my security software. This is very common now here. One could try experimenting with clearing caches, different browsers, turning off and on add-ons.

What has worked for me is (when logged-in) to go to Member Control Panel (near topo left of from screen), then click on Forum Preferences, then I clicked on the "No" option for Enable the WYSIWYG post editor before updating the profile.

That does mean that you have to manually tag urls to make them hyperlinks and manually tag videos to embed them, and you don't export rich text when pasting etc. but I have been fine with that.

I got a wrong user name or password message yesterday. So I got a new password. Same message today. It worked in the end, but it's weird. Confused

Firefox has never failed me before, though I've become used to Edge because it's required for better teleworking conditions

I loathe anything to do with Gougueule, though (I hate GAFA and try to live without them whenever possible  - though difficult to do without YT, though)
