^Oh man, i got mine for $7. It was dusty, a bit of cleaning (with a glasses cleaning cloth and a bit of water) it plays perfect. That one better have a map on the back of it that leads to Trinity Church, in which we can discover about a bajillion dollars in ancient artifacts.

Of course that's not serious.To me sometimes, and this is a great example, humour from across the pond is as subtle as a brick. He does cleverly tee it up with some serious thoughts about short running times to try and give it cred but it's still an epic fail sorry!

Yeah, the WD-40 was hilarious. But I have no doubt he was serious. This one was equally perplexing as to whether it was meant to be humourous or not. Maybe if he'd been a little more cross-eyed or disheveled? But I've learned...Stupid is as stupid does. Then again, it WAS an ABBA album.

I've seen worse, there's that Asian guy who made video said to use WD-40  ......If this guy is serious then I can only say there are dumb people everywhere.I have to assume some of the comet is still stuck in the grooves and will damage the stylus on playback.

I like to flip, this is an old picture but does fit the season. I'm very full on these now and need to build another one. One sheet of 18mm MDF will make one unit, then I prime and paint them.  |

Next vinylographers question. Albums storage...What do you have and what do you prefer. Spine edge display or front face flop down bins. Mine have always been...  But I'm almost wondering if I'd rather have a flop down bin.

Yup....In that $10 box was a bunch of 12" singles. 2nd row that's the album by The Move~Split Ends.....This version of The Move was Jeff Lynn, Bev Bevan and Roy Wood, the precursor to ELO. Album includes the ELO song "Do Ya" the raw version. Very cool listen...

Record shopping the past 2 months, now that I see what we bought turns out this was my wife's shopping spree more than mine
