Hi,
I have had, for some odd ball reason some password issues. A month ago I had to switch browsers and it was gone. Then coming back, it was gone again, and both times I had to bother DamoX for his help. The bad part now, is that I was trying to setup an album review and asked for me to login, and sure enough, it says the password is wrong ... I guess I'm OK on the forums as long as I don't have any issues, but not sure why I can not login to post a review. One of the tough things would be the "previous password" which in this case was one that was given for me, which I am not able to locate, and likely removed after fixing things for safety reasons. Was going to post a nice review for someone that deserves it, but can't. Sorry ... and there was a comment from one user about me not doing "enough reviews" of many albums ... and honestly, I don't do as many album reviews as I do film reviews (over 500 of those in 20+ years!) ... but on occasion it would be nice to be able to post them. Just disappointed that it appears to me that a different login is required, apparently (not sure about that!) ... but what the heck ... trying to get a 72 year old man to remember the password several months ago ... very tough ... very tough ... But thanks, anyway ... you guys are all still the best, despite my always picking on you folks ... it's like a comedian ... what's the point if it is not worth a (fun) comment? If that login can be fixed for good, I'm OK with it, if you guys don't want to do so, I'm OK with that also. I can always post the reviews on my website instead, though I feel many of them would be way better posted here. Happy 4th for all you Americans out there ... oh wait, that's for me, too!

It won't save cross browsers, best to write down passwords if you can't remember them o0r might forget it in the future. I don't know why this password you are using now to log-in to the forum would not work for logging in through the front page link to https://www.progarchives.com/all_collaborators.asp unless it has diacritics/ special characters.
I have to prepare dinner soon for my son, but If you can PM me now with a password you want, I will reset that to that password. Sorry if I'm not understanding your issue properly. Then try to log in again immediately at the forum using the new password (and write it down). EDIT: You probably won't see this immediately, but PM me and I will be back later (have to prepare dinner now). Edited by Logan - June 21 2023 at 18:59 |

I'm back online, please PM me ASAP for a new password setup. Oh damn, now seems I have missed you, I like to handle these things as much as possible in real-time when we're both online and refreshing the page to have some back and forth.

Use a password safe app such as SafeInCloud.

I use Windows Notepad for making notes of passwords in .txt files - a system that has done me well for years - you just have to remember where you hide them away (e.g. a USB memory stick).

SafeInCloud is brilliant, it will generate random secure passwords for you and you can just copy and paste them into the login screen. All you need to do is remember the master password for SafeInCloud itself, or use fingerprint login on your phone. It also syncs with your select cloud provider so you get all your passwords on your phone as well.
And no, I'm not connected with them, I'm sure there are other similar programs.
